• up to one full bisque + glaze firing a month according to studio firing schedule

• 1 wet box bin and limited shelf space for storing work

***Clay not included but available for purchase as needed: option of white or brown speckled clay is $45 for a 25lb bag of clay to be used in the studio - can last up to 2-3 months.

if you’d like to bring your own clay/glazes you must verify with Erica to ensure it is fired to the proper temp, additional firing fees apply on work created outside of the studio and clay outsourced

this is ideal for those who have attended at least one ceramics workshop with Erica Lores, those who have a basic understanding of working with clay, those who have a passion for creativity

important to note: this is different than a formal weekly class, members work independently however erica is available to give you tips and assistance as needed

those with experience on the pottery wheel can sign up for a 1hr-2hr+ throwing block—first come, first serve, two wheels available. if the wheel is open after you can continue using it longer. it’s important to have taken at least one wheel class prior.

Maracuyá Studio is a safe space for play, expression, and connection for everyone. in exchange for access to the studio all visitors agree to our policies and safety guidelines. we ask that each member be respectful towards other members and help with the cleanliness of the studio. please note, Maracuyá Studio is an open air studio barn, located in the backyard of a private residence.

due to the nature of ceramics, be aware there is always a risk of something happening to the pieces during the firing process. as a small business, we cannot provide a full refund for any glaze defects, breakages, or cracking of the pieces. due to the schedule of kiln firings, there may be delays with the finishing of student pieces. students are responsible for picking up their pieces once they are ready. Maracuyá Studio is not responsible for any work left longer than 30 days.

cancellation policy: open studio membership is month-to-month and can be canceled at any time with no charge. kindly let us know a week before your next billing date. must contact me within 48 hours for a full refund.
